IP68 means dust-tight and water immersion beyond 1 m (the maker specifies depth/time). Found on most flagships as Waterproof: IP68. Tablets often list Waterproof: No instead.
IP67 is 1 m for 30 min; IP54 is splash-only. IP ratings assume fresh water at rest — salt water and pressure are a different story.
