Mini-LED is an LCD backlight made of thousands of tiny LEDs that dim in zones. It boosts contrast and HDR brightness without OLED's burn-in risk, but zones can bloom around bright objects.

Common in premium laptops and high-end tablets. It bridges LCD and MicroLED.
