Fill Rate

How many pixels/textures a GPU can draw per second; influences resolution performance.

Also known as: Pixel Fill Rate Texture Fill Rate

Full Definition & Technical Explanation

Fill rate is a GPU's raw drawing throughput — Pixel Fill Rate: 55 GPixel/s, Texture Fill Rate: 110 GTexel/s. Higher fill rates handle higher resolutions and complex textures.

It matters most at high resolution and with heavy effects. See Raw Performance in GPU specs.
